THE BACTERIA THAT WANT TO HELP US.
Probiotics are living microorganisms found in the human body. Constituting (among other things) the skin flora, or microbiota, these bacteria and yeasts have beneficial effects on health when they are present in sufficient quantities and in a balanced way. They are found in some fermented foods (such as yogurt and kefir).
Prebiotics, on the other hand,serve as food for probiotics. They promote the development of these bacteria that are beneficial to the microbiota. They limit the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria and prevent their adhesion.
